ZinKlad 96 is a unique, hexavalent chromium-free coating system that will meet today’s industry demands for high performance surface treatments. It combines a homogenous metallic zinc deposit of 8 microns minimum thickness, with a high build iridescent passivate. The unique properties of ZinKlad 96 consistently meet minimum performance demands without the use of topcoats or sealers.
ZinKlad 96 deposits are applied from our specialist range of Envirozin and Kenlevel branded zinc electroplating processes. These are formulated to provide uniform, bright and adherent zinc deposits that are ductile and rapidly achieve minimum thickness for optimum coverage.
ZinKlad 96M is also as a mechanically applied zinc deposit using our world renowned MacuGuard process. This provides an economical bulk method for applying zinc coatings onto metallic substrates. Deposit appearance is semi-bright with excellent corrosion protection which is free from hydrogen embrittlement.
ZinKlad 96 and 96M systems are completed with the application of our TriPass ELV range of high build trivalent passivates. These films impart a silver-iridescent colour and extend corrosion resistance against the formation of white rust. |
