ZinKlad 250 is a unique, hexavalent chromium-free coating system that will meet today’s industry demands for high performance surface treatments. It combines a homogenous metallic zinc deposit of 8 microns minimum thickness, with a high build iridescent passivate and clear topcoat. The unique properties of ZinKlad 250 consistently meet minimum performance demands for corrosion and torque modification.
ZinKlad 250 deposits are applied from our specialist range of Envirozin and Kenlevel branded zinc electroplating processes. These are formulated to provide uniform, bright and adherent zinc deposits that are ductile and rapidly achieve minimum thickness for optimum coverage.
ZinKlad 250 zinc systems are completed with the application of a high build trivalent passivate followed by a specialist topcoat layer.
MacDermid TriPass ELV range of high build trivalent passivate films impart a silver-iridescent colour, whilst extending corrosion resistance against the formation of white rust.
MacDermid HydroKlad, JS and Torque’n’Tension branded topcoats provide increased corrosion resistance, modify surface tribology to ensure uniform torque and clamping characteristics. |
