Great Lakes Metal Finishing Inc. is please to announce that they have met the necessary requirements to be selected as a ZinKlad Approved Plater (ZAP) for the application of ZinKlad 96 & 250. These technologies meet the requirements for Hex-Free corrosion protective finishes for GM, Ford, TRW, Audi and Delphi. The process eliminates the use of Hexavalent Chromium while at the same time providing corrosion protection in excess of traditional hexavalent finishes.
These processes, although developed for the automotive industry, are availabel to any company wishing to eliminate the use of Hex-Chrome and improve the corrosion protection of their products.
